Changing the New and Updated icon display period

When a user adds a new item to a page group, the New icon () is displayed next to it, to inform other users that the item is new and may contain information they haven't yet seen. When a user edits an existing item, the Updated icon () is displayed next to it, to inform other users that it has been updated and may contain new information. You can control how long an item is considered new or recently updated by changing the display period of these icons.

  1. In the Navigator click Properties next to the page group with which you want to work.

  2. Click the Items tab.

  3. In the Icon Display Period field, enter the number of days to display:

    Tip: Set Icon Display Period to 0 if you do not want to display the icons at all.

  4. Click OK.
