Canadian Literature in English:

Desde el curso virtual de la asignatura se accede gratuitamente a las cinco Unidades Didácticas de las que es autora la Dra. Teresa Gibert. Este material contiene:

1) las instrucciones específicas para el estudio de los cinco temas,
2) comentarios sobre los textos de lectura preceptiva que se encuentran en la Antología (con referencias a las páginas exactas que es necesario leer y que también se relacionan a continuación dentro de este mismo apartado de "BIBLIOGRAFÍA BÁSICA"),
3) actividades para el estudio de cada tema, con sus correspondientes orientaciones bibliográficas y un buen número de enlaces a páginas web recomendadas,

Antología:

Al final de este mismo apartado de "BIBLIOGRAFÍA BÁSICA" se especifican las lecturas obligatorias contenidas en la Antología, que no es necesario leer completa. Se puede utilizar cualquier edición de dicha Antología, de la cual existen dos versiones diferentes:

En todas las ediciones arriba indicadas se han mantenido los mismos contenidos e idéntica paginación.

2)  BENNETT, Donna, and Russell BROWN, eds. An Anthology of Canadian Literature in English. Toronto: OUP, 2010. ISBN-10: 0195427815. ISBN-13: 9780195427813. Esta tercera edición de la Antología difiere de las anteriores en cuanto a determinados contenidos y en lo referente a la paginación.

Si no se localiza la Antología pulsando la opción de "Buscarlo en bibliotecas UNED", es aconsejable acceder directamente al catálogo de dichas bibliotecas y buscarla por el nombre de sus editores o por cualquiera de sus dos títulos, pues cabe la posibilidad de que tengan catalogados ejemplares con un ISBN diferente. A quienes deseen adquirir un ejemplar de la Antología se les recomienda que realicen el encargo a la mayor brevedad, con el fin de poder iniciar el estudio de la asignatura al comienzo del primer cuatrimestre, teniendo en cuenta la previsible demora de la compra a través de alguna de las librerías que venden por internet.
