After successful completion of Module II, International and Comparative Policing, students will be able to:
Understand the new challenges for the police posed by European societies and compare the systems of the EU Member States
Apply a series of methodological skills in the field of international and comparative police action
Reflect critically on the systematic differences between national police systems, police models, police organizations and police cultures
Identify, prioritize and analyze the conflicts of the diverse society that affect the work of the police and define their potential risk for security.
Understand the impact of different organizational structures and cultures and identify and address obstacles in order to facilitate police cooperation in the EU
