Cada pregunta del examen final es un 20% del total del examen (para un total de 5 preguntas).

Ejercicicios de autoevaluación:

Estos ejercicios tienen los siguientes objetivos:

- Adquisición de habilidad y velocidad en la resolución de ejercicios de la asignatura
- Complementar los conocimientos adquiridos en el curso
- Aclaración y fortalecimiento de los conocimientos adquiridos en el estudio aplicados al desarrollo de problemas
- Verificar el nivel de conocimiento

Al final de cada módulo, del texto base, hay algunos ejercicios propuestos que el estudiante debe tratar de trabajar en ellos. Este trabajo es individual (no evaluable pero se tendrá en cuenta positivamente) y las soluciones se incluyen en el texto, de esta manera el alumno puede verificar el nivel de conocimiento adquirido.

Self-evaluation exercises:

These exercises have the following objectives:

- Acquisition of skill and speed in solving practices of the subject
- Complementing the knowledge acquired in the course
- Clarifying and strengthening of the knowledge acquired in the study applied to the development of practices
- Check the level of knowledge

At the end of each Module, in the basic text, there are some proposed exercises that the student should try to work on them. This work is individually (non evaluable but it would be taken into account positively) and solutions are included in the text, in this way the student can check the level of knowledge acquired.

Prácticas optativas:

Esta actividad es opcional y puede pesar el 20% de la calificación final.

Las prácticas se llevarán a cabo utilizando el entorno VISIR que permite a los estudiantes trabajar con un laboratorio remoto y experimentar con componentes reales (componentes no ideales).

Estas actividades incluyen la implementación y el análisis de circuitos RLC, filtros y convertidores estáticos. Esta herramienta incluye un osciloscopio digital, un generador de funciones y una fuente de alimentación DC para realizar diferentes análisis, todos ellos accesibles de forma remota.

Los ejercicios prácticos podrían completarse con algún software educativo para realizar simulaciones de circuitos como los presentados en estas prácticas. Se proporcionará cualquier material adicional para realizar las prácticas. El personal docente indicará en el curso virtual cualquier información adicional.

Se podrían proponer otras actividades prácticas en lugar de las anteriores, pero el enfoque y los objetivos serían similares.

Optional practices:

This activity is optional and can weight 20 % of the final qualification.

Practices will be held using VISIR environment which lets students to work with a remote laboratory and to experiments with real components (non ideal components).

These activities include implementation and analysis of RLC circuits, filters and static converters. This tool includes a digital scope, a function generator and a DC power supply to perform different analysis, all of them accessible remotely.

Practical exercises could be completed with some educational software to perform simulations of circuits presented in these practices. Any additional material to perform these practices will be provided. Teaching staff will indicate in virtual course any additional information.

Other practices activites could be proposed instead of the previous ones, but the aproach and objetives would be similar.

El examen final es obligatorio y el trabajo práctico es opcional. Hay dos posibilidades para la evaluación final:

- 100% de examen final (opción predeterminada).
- 80% de examen final + 20% de trabajo de prácticas (los estudiantes tienen que comunicar esta opción).

Final exam is mandatory and practical work is optional. There are two possibilities for the final evaluation:

- 100 % final exam (default option). 
- 80 % final exam + 20 % practice work (students have to communicate this option).
