Esta actividad es obligatoria. La estructura del examen final será la siguiente:

- 1ª parte teórico-conceptual: compuesta por 3 preguntas sobre conceptos básicos explicados en el texto base.

- 2ª parte práctica: compuesta por 2 problemas similares a los problemas del texto base.

Cada pregunta del examen final es un 20% del total del examen (para un total de 5 preguntas).

Se evaluará la claridad en los conceptos teóricos expuestos. En los problemas se evaluará tanto el desarrollo correcto de los problemas como la exactitud de los resultados.

Las fechas aproximadas de los exámenes serán durante la segunda semana de junio y durante la primera semana de septiembre. No obstante, debe consultarse el calendario oficial para confirmar la fecha y horario.

This activity is mandatory. The structure of the final exam will be as follow:

- 1st part Theoretical-conceptual: composed by 3 questions about basic concepts explained in the basic text.

- 2nd part Practical: composed by 2 problems similar to problems in the basic text.

Each question in the final exam is a 20% of the total for the exam (for a total of 5 questions).

Clarity in the theoretical concepts exposed will be evaluated. The problems will evaluate both the correct development of the problems and the accuracy of the results.

The approximate dates of the exams will be during the second week of June and during the first week of September. However, the official calendar must be consulted to confirm the date and time.

Trabajo práctico.

Esta actividad es obligatoria y pesa el 20% de la calificación final (nota mínima 4).

Las prácticas incluyen dos actividades (no presenciales):

- Análisis y simulación de circuitos RLC, líneas eléctricas y convertidores estáticos mediante herramientas de simulación por ordenador. Las actividades incluyen un estudio teórico previo a la simulación de los circuitos.

- Estudio de fiabilidad (RAMS) de un sistema. Se realizará un estudio teórico previo sobre la fiabilidad de un sistema y se comprobarán los resultados mediante simulaciones software.

En el trabajo práctico se evaluará la asimilación de los conceptos estudiados en la teoria mediante problemas y casos prácticos.

La fecha de entrega límite será hasta el comienzo de los exámenes. Este trabajo obligatorio puede entregarse también para la convocatoria de septiembre.

El personal docente indicará en el curso virtual cualquier información adicional.

Practical work.

This activity is compulsory and weighs 20% of the final mark (minimum mark 4).

The practices include two activities (not face-to-face):

- Analysis and simulation of RLC circuits, power lines and static converters using computer simulation tools. The activities include a theoretical study prior to the simulation of the circuits.

- Study of reliability (RAMS) of a system. A prior theoretical study on the reliability of a system will be carried out and the results will be verified using software simulations.

In the practical work the assimilation of the concepts studied in the theory will be evaluated through problems and practical cases.

The deadline for submission will be until the beginning of the exams. This compulsory work can also be delivered for the September call.

The teaching staff will indicate any additional information in the virtual course.

Ejercicicios de autoevaluación:

Estos ejercicios tienen los siguientes objetivos:

- Adquisición de habilidad y velocidad en la resolución de ejercicios de la asignatura
- Complementar los conocimientos adquiridos en el curso
- Aclaración y fortalecimiento de los conocimientos adquiridos en el estudio aplicados al desarrollo de problemas
- Verificar el nivel de conocimiento

Al final de cada módulo, del texto base, hay algunos ejercicios propuestos que el estudiante debe tratar de trabajar en ellos. Este trabajo es individual (no evaluable) y las soluciones se proporcionarán, de esta manera el alumno puede verificar el nivel de conocimiento adquirido.

These exercises have the following objectives:

- Acquisition of skill and speed in solving practices of the subject
- Complementing the knowledge acquired in the course
- Clarifying and strengthening of the knowledge acquired in the study applied to the development of practices

At the end of each Module, in the basic text, there are some proposed exercises that the student should try to work on them. This work is individual (not evaluable) and the solutions will be provided, in this way the student can verify the level of knowledge acquired.

Existe la posibilidad de realizar un trabajo de prácticas optativo adicional que puede sumar hasta 1 punto sobre la nota final, siempre y cuando se haya sacado la nota mínima en el examen (5) y en el trabajo de prácticas (4).

Este trabajo tratará sobre temas relacionados con la electrónica de potencia y sistemas eléctricos.

La fecha de entrega límite será hasta el comienzo de los exámenes. Este trabajo opcional puede entregarse también para la convocatoria de septiembre.

El estudiante que desee realizar este trabajo debe ponerse en contacto con el equipo docente al comienzo del curso.

There is the possibility of doing an optional additional practical work that can add up to 1 point on the final mark, as long as the minimum mark required in the exam (5) and in the practical work (4) have been met.

This work will deal with topics related to power electronics and electrical systems.
