Para estudiar con éxito esta asignatura, dado su carácter técnico y práctico, es necesario tener conocimientos previos de electrónica y teoría de circuitos.

Según el EEES, el proceso de evaluación es continuo a lo largo del curso y está de acuerdo con la carga de trabajo, la organización del contenido y el calendario que figuran en el apartado correspondiente. El estudiante debe realizar ejercicios en cada módulo (individualmente) y un examen final de evaluación. También se considerará la participación del alumno en la plataforma virtual del tema (foros, preguntas, opiniones, etc.).
