I hold a PhD in Social and Political Science from the European University Institute in Florence and an MSc in Philosophy of the Social Sciences from the London School of Economics. I am a doctoral fellow at the Center for Advanced Research in the Social Sciences of the Juan March Institute. I have worked in the fields of Political Economy and Science Policy as a researcher in IESA-CSIC  (2006-2007). 

My current specialization is in Philosophy of the Social Sciences, with an emphasis on methodological issues. I currently serve as Head of the Department of Logic, History and Philosophy of Science at UNED. I am also a member of the Steering Committee of the European Philosophy of Science Association
