BACHILLERATO MODE

Students may request accreditation of a Bachillerato mode, in order to be assessed by the universities in their admissions procedures. Students should consult the universities that they wish to attend to determine if it is necessary for the accreditation to include the Bachillerato mode.

EU students or those from countries with reciprocity agreements in the area in which they have completed courses equivalent to the Spanish Bachillerato (Annex I of the regulations)

The Bachillerato mode shall be assigned according to the courses completed in the student’s educational system of origin.

To grant a Bachillerato mode, the student should have passed a minimum of three courses in their educational system which are equivalent to the general core courses or optional core courses of the Spanish education system (see the chart of courses by Bachillerato mode in Spain), according to the following criteria:

a) A course from the general core courses block, taken during the last year of their secondary studies.

b) A course from the optional core courses block, taken during the last year of their secondary studies.

c) One of the following courses, according to the channel that is selected:

1) Sciences: Mathematics in the last year of secondary studies.
2) Social Sciences: Some mathematics course from the last two years of secondary studies.
3) Humanities: Latin or another language in the last year of secondary studies.
4) Arts: Some course in the area of arts in the last two years of secondary studies.

d) These students may complete with PCE those courses that are necessary in order to receive a Bachillerato mode and that they have not taken in their own system.

BACHILLERATO MODE

Students having studies that may be homologated to the Spanish Bachillerato or with professional or technical study degrees.

The Bachillerato Mode is established according to the Specific Competency Exams (PCE) that are taken.

To grant a Bachillerato Mode, a minimum of three PCE courses shall be passed which are general core or optional core according to the offer published in the UNEDasiss webpage, according to the following criteria:

a) A course from the general core block.

b) A course from the optional core block.

c) One of the following courses, according to the channel selected:

1) Ciencias: Matemáticas.
2) Ciencias Sociales: Matemáticas o Matemáticas Aplicadas a CCSS.
3) Humanidades: Latín o Lengua Extranjera.
4) Artes: Fundamentos del Arte o Historia del Arte.
