Exam regulations


According to the UNED regulations for exams, students should attend the testing centre at least half an hour prior to the start of the exam and should bring with them their official identification documentation and the receipt of their application which contains the bar code that permits their access to the exam. Students who fail to bring along this receipt shall be attended to after all students who have brought the required receipt.

In no case shall individuals accompanying the student be permitted in the testing centres and students are not permitted to remain in the testing centres (hallways or other rooms) except for the completion of the exams. At all time, silence and order should be maintained in the entries and exits.

NOTICE REGARDING EXAM REGULATIONS:

THE USE (OR PLACEMENT ON THE TABLE) OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES (MOBILE PHONES, WATCHES, CALCULATORS, ETC.) IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED, ALONG WITH ANY OTHER UNAUTHORIZED MATERIAL FROM THE HEADING OF THE EXAM. THE FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REGULATION SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT.

Students who take the PCE or the EBAU with the UNED should abide by the Regulations of the Uned for In-person Tests, which indicate the following:

Article 35. Students shall go to the site of the exams at least half an hour before the hour signalled for the start of the exam, bringing with them the corresponding official identification documents as well as the document accrediting their registration in the PCE or EBAU of the UNED. These documents should remain on the student’s table throughout the entire exam. Students who fail to identify themselves shall not have access to the exam hall. In the case in which the student was already in the hall, his/her exam shall be taken and he/she shall be removed from the hall. The incident shall be reported in the Acts

Article 36. Once the exam has been delivered to the student, only the authorized exam material shall be permitted within his/her reach. Therefore, unless expressly authorized, the use or even possession of any other type of material for consultation or assistance (books, notes, notebooks, unstamped papers, programmable calculators, etc.) shall be strictly prohibited, as well as electronic communication devices, personal data storage devices and personal computers. Mobile telephones are to be turned off.

Article 37. 1. Students should refrain from using or participating in fraudulent procedures during the exams, including the following:

a) Copying, of any sort.
b) Communication of any sort with another student or another individual located inside or outside of the exam site.
c) Impersonation and falsification of documents.
d) The failure to comply with the indications of members of the Tribunal and/or collaborating individuals, always within the application framework of this Regulation.
e) Alteration of the normal course of the exam process.
f) Offense or disregard of members of the Tribunal, Support Commission, collaborating individuals or other students.

2. The PAU shall be carried out under appropriate conditions. Exam evaluation shall be in accordance with course guidelines, and upon request, the student shall be provided with a receipt of having completed the exam.

Article 38. 1. When a student incurs any of the cases described in the previous articles, the responsible member of the Tribunal shall proceed to:

a. Remove the exam with a brief notation of the incident in the same, along with a legible signature on it.
b. Note the incident in the act.
c. Expel the student from the exam hall.

2. In all cases, the incident shall be recorded in the Act, including the student name, identification (DNI) or passport number, date, time and course; as well as the first and last name of the member of the Tribunal who has recorded the incident and a brief report on the events taking place.

3. In the case in which the incident consists of the use or possession of unauthorized materials, the member of the Tribunal shall proceed, if possible, with their confiscation or scanning; attaching it to the exam. Failing this, the act should include the type of material along with a detailed description of its technical specifications. In these cases, the Inspection Service shall estimate the procedure to be followed based on the seriousness of the incident.
