ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

As an Official Master’s Degree, access requirements to the Program are: being in possession of an official Spanish University Degree allowing access to this type of study (graduate, engineer, degree or diploma), or another issued by an Institution of Higher Education in the EHEA which authorize in the issuing country to access postgraduate education.

Graduates under educational systems outside the EHEA who, without having made equivalent their Degrees, wish to enroll in the Master's, may do so after verification by the Program Committee of the Master that those credit a level of education equivalent to the corresponding Official Spanish Degree and that it authorizes access to postgraduate studies. Access to the Master’s in this way does not imply, in any case, the equivalence of the Degree held by the applicant or its recognition for purposes other than study the teachings of the Master.

As for the recommended profile of access under which the program has been conceived is the corresponding to a degree in electronics. Access from a similar training can also be favorably considered: electrical and/or industrial engineering, applied physics, physics engineering, telecommunications, computer science or computer engineering. On the other hand, shall be considered and valued other profiles with sufficient connection with the Master.

There are no specific prerequisites; however, subjects in the modules have master-level programs, which assume some prior knowledge by the students.

To prove the level of knowledge of the language in which the Master will be taught, in this case English, the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) that establishes unified criteria for all European languages in the fields of learning, teaching and assessment, will be used. In this regard, the preferred language level is upper-intermediate English, and therefore the student will be asked to prove his level of knowledge of the English language by an official certificate of minimum the CEFR B2 type or similar (there are other comparable as those issued by University of Cambridge). The UNED itself, through a certificate issued by the University Center for Distance Language or CUID, may also certify the English level of candidates, since their levels are adapted to the CEFR. The absence of certification of English proficiency level will result in exclusion from the admission process of the Master. 

REQUISITOS DE ACCESO

Al tratarse de un Título Oficial de Máster los requisitos de acceso al Programa son estar en posesión de un Título Universitario oficial español que permita el acceso a este tipo de estudios (graduado, ingeniero, licenciado o diplomado) u otro expedido por una Institución de Educación Superior del EEES que facultan en el país expedidor del Título para acceder a la enseñanza de postgrado.

Los titulados conforme a sistemas educativos ajenos al EEES que sin haber homologado sus Títulos deseen matricularse en el Máster podrán hacerlo, previa comprobación por la Comisión de Programa del Máster de que aquellos acreditan un nivel de formación equivalente a los correspondientes Títulos Oficiales españoles y que facultan en el país expedidor del Título para el acceso a enseñanzas de postgrado. El acceso al Máster por esta vía no implicará, en ningún caso, la homologación del Título previo de que se esté en posesión por parte del interesado, ni su reconocimiento a otros efectos que el de cursar las enseñanzas del Máster.

En cuanto al perfil de acceso recomendado con arreglo al cual ha sido concebido el programa es el correspondiente a una titulación en electrónica. También se puede considerar favorablemente el acceso desde una formación similar: ingeniería eléctrica y/o industrial, física aplicada, ingeniería física, telecomunicaciones, informática o ingeniería de computadores. Por otro lado, se considerarán y valorarán otros perfiles con suficiente relación con el Máster.

No existen prerrequisitos específicos, sin embargo las asignaturas de los módulos poseen programas con nivel de máster, con lo que presuponen ciertos conocimientos previos por parte de los estudiantes.

Para acreditar el nivel de conocimiento de la lengua en la que se impartirá el Máster, en este caso el inglés, se utilizará el MCER (Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las lenguas) que establece unos criterios unificados para todas las lenguas europeas en los ámbitos del aprendizaje, la enseñanza y la evaluación. A este respecto, el nivel de idioma recomendado es inglés intermedio-alto, por lo tanto, se solicitará que el estudiante acredite su nivel de conocimiento del inglés mediante un certificado oficial del MCER tipo B2 mínimo o similar (existen otros equiparables como los que expide la Universidad de Cambridge). La propia UNED, a través de un título expedido por el Centro Universitario de Idiomas a Distancia o CUID, también podrá acreditar el nivel de inglés de los candidatos, puesto que sus niveles están adaptados al MCER. La ausencia de certificación del nivel de dominio del inglés supondrá la exclusión al proceso de admisión del Máster.
