Grant Schema Privileges

Use this page to grant privileges that enable other OracleAS Portal users or groups to perform actions on a schema. To add a privilege, enter a Grantee, select a Privilege, then click Add.

Grant Privileges

Field Description
Grantee Enter a user or group to whom you want to grant privileges. Click Browse to search for users and groups.
Privilege Select an access privilege.
Grant Click to assign the privilege to the user or group.

Change Access

Field Description
Grantee

Displays the user or role to whom a privilege is currently granted.

Click Delete to remove all privileges from the user or group.

Type Displays whether the Grantee is an OracleAS Portal user or group.
Privilege Displays the type of privilege: Manage, Grant, Modify, Insert, or View.

To locate this page in OracleAS Portal:

  1. On the Portal Builder page, click the Navigator link.
  2. Click the Database Objects tab.
  3. In the Name column, scroll down to the schema on which you want to grant privileges.
  4. In the Actions column next to the schema, click Grant Access.
