Global guidelines: Ethics in Learning Analytics

In the light of the rapid development of Learning Analytics on a global basis, ICDE has taken the initiative to produce a set of guidelines for ethically-informed practice that would be valuable to all regions of the world.

The aim of the Guidelines is to identify which core principles relating to ethics are core to all, and where there is legitimate differentiation due to separate legal or more broadly cultural environments.

A Working Group was established with members from a range of countries and the work resulted in this 16-page report authored by Sharon Slade and Alan Tait.
