The acquisition of this level requires study and repeated practice.

Since it is exclusively online learning, the methodology is different from that of the other face-to-face or mixed methodology courses. Despite the flexibility of an online course, an active participation of the student is expected to complete the proposed activities, which gives the teaching-learning process more flexibility, but, at the same time, involves an additional effort of the student when organizing their study time. The didactic activities have been organized so that learning is gradual throughout the course, with an online work plan of approximately 8 hours per week.

This modality does not include access to language classes in the associated centers. To have this service it is necessary to register in the blended modality.

This course uses two online platforms:

• Virtual learning platform of the course from UNED: with the virtual classroom (pedagogic guide, forum, news, calendar, etc.) and the interactive teaching material (videos, readings, links to other materials, etc.) are located, as well as the proposed activities focus on the four communication skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). 
• AVE (Aula virtual de Español) Platform from Insituto Cervantes: with interactive material focus on the four communication skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) is located.

In addition, for the practice of oral expression and interaction, online conversation classes will be organized once a month through a videoconferencing tool.
